Qanun-e-Shahadat Order, 1984 — Section 7: Official communications
7. Official communications.— No public officer shall be compelled to disclose communications made to him in official confidence, when he considers that the public interests would suffer by the disclosure. Explanation.—In this Article, “communications” includes communications concerning industrial or commercial activities carried on, directly or indirectly, by the Federal Government or a Provincial Government or any statutory body or corporation or company set up or controlled by such Government.
