Pakistan Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Rules, 1976 — section 2

2. In these Rules unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context:

(a)"Act" means The Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act, 1973 (Act XXXV of 1973).

(b)"Chairman" means

(i)in relation to the affairs of the Pakistan Bar Council, the Chairman of the Pakistan Bar Council. 2[(ii) in relation to affairs of a Provincial Bar Council and the Islamabad Bar Council, the Chairman of the Provincial Bar Council concerned and the Islamabad Bar Council.] 3 [(c) "Division" means and includes a former Division as existed on or before 31.12.1999].
