45. The Executive Committee may grant to an employee an advance from the Provident Fund to the extent of 30% of total entitlement provided that if he has put in more than five years continuous service for the following purposes a) to pay expenditure incurred in connection with the illness of the employee or any person actually dependent on him; b) to pay expenditure in connection with the marriage of the employee or any person actually dependent on him; c) to pay expenditure of building or purchasing of house or site for a house; d) to pay expenditure in connection with the performance of Hajj or Umra; and e) such emergency, which the Executive Committee may deem fit.
