Factories Act, 1934 — section 66

66. Penalty for smoking or using naked light in vicinity of inflammable material. Whoever smokes, or uses a naked light or causes or permits any such light to be used in the vicinity of any inflammable material in a factory shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees. Exception.___This provision does not extend to the use, in accordance with such precautions as may be prescribed, of a naked light in the course of a manufacturing process.
