Factories Act, 1934 — section 49A

49A. Application of Chapter..—_(1) The provisions of this Chapter shall not apply to a seasonal factory.

(2)The provisions of this Chapter shall not operate to the prejudice of any rights to which a worker may be entitled under any other enactment, or under the terms of any award, agreement or contract of service. 1 Added by Act No. XVI of 1973, s. 13. 2 Subs. by A.O., 1937. 3 Ins. by Act No. III of 1945, s. 3 (w. e. f. the 1st January, 1946).
