Transfer of Property Act, 1882 — section 125
125. Gift to several of whom one does not accept..—A gift of a thing to two or more donees, of whom one does not accept it, is void as to the interest which he would have taken had he accepted. 1 Subs. by Act No. XX of 1929, s. 59. 2 As to limitation to the territorial operation of s. 123, see s. 1, supra. S. 123 extends to every cantonment in the Provinces, etc. __ see s. 287 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 (Act No. II of 1924).
