Trade Marks Ordinance, 2001 — section 126

126. Address for service..—_(1) Every applicant or opponent in any proceedings under this Ordinance, who does not reside or carry on business within Pakistan, shall give an address for service in Pakistan and such address may be treated as the actual address of that person for all purposes connected with the proceedings in question.

(2)The address for service shall be deemed to be address of the applicant or the opponent and all documents in relation to the application or notice of opposition may be served by leaving them at or sending them by registered post to the address of service of the applicant or opponent, as the case may be. 1 [(3) An application filed under Madrid Protocol for international registration of marks shall be subject to such conditions as may be prescribed.]
