Succession Act, 1925 — Section 282: Punishment for false averment in petition or declaration
282. Punishment for false averment in petition or declaration. If any petition or declaration which is hereby required to be verified contains any averment which the person making the verification knows or believes to be false, such person shall be deemed to have committed an offence under section 193 of the Pakistan Penal Code (XLV of 1860).
