Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act, 1973 — section 68

68. Savings..—(1) Nothing in this Act shall apply to mukhtars and revenue agents and every mukhtar and revenue agent practicing as such immediately before the commencement of this Act shall continue to enjoy the same rights as respects practice in any Court or revenue office or before any authority or person as he enjoyed, and be subject to the disciplinary jurisdiction of the same authority to which he was subject, immediately before such commencement, and the provisions of the Legal Practitioners Act, 1879 (Act XVII of 1879), or other law shall have effect in relation to such persons as if they had not been repealed by the said Act.
