Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act, 1973 — section 40

40. Right of pre-audience..—(1) The Attorney General for Pakistan shall have the right of pre-audience over all other advocates.

(2)Subject to sub-section (1), the Advocate General of a Province [or Islamabad Capital Territory] shall have the right of pre-audience over all other advocates; and the right of pre-audience among the Advocates-General shall be determined by the date of appointment to their respective offices.
