Factories Act, 1934 — section 79
79. Publication of rules..—_(1) All rules made under this Act shall be subject to the condition of previous publication, and the date to be specified under clause (3) of section 23 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (X of 1897), shall not be less than three months from the date on which the draft of the proposed rules was published.
(2)All such rules shall be published in 1[* * *] the 1[official Gazette] 1[* * *] and shall, unless some later date is appointed, come into force on the date of such publication. 80. Application to Government factories. This Act shall apply to factories belonging to the 2 [Government]. 81. Protection to persons acting under this Act. No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any person for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act. 82. 3[Repealed] 3 [Repealed] DATED. 05-05-2025 1 Subs., repealed and omitted by A.
