Emigration Ordinance, 1979 — section 5
5. Appointment of Protectors of Emigrants..—(1) The 3[secretary of the division concerned] may appoint a person to be a Protector of Emigrants and define the area to which the authority of a Protector of Emigrants so appointed shall extend.
(2)Every Protector of Emigrants shall be a public servant within the meaning of the Pakistan Penal Code (Act XLV of 1860).
