144. Power of Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) to legislate for 8[One] or more Provinces by consent.__ (1) If 8[one] or more Provincial Assemblies pass resolutions to the effect that 3[Majlis-e 1 Existing Article 140A stands omitted as a consequence of the (Eighteenth Amendment) Act, 2010 (Act No. X of 2010), see section 2. 2 Ins. by the Constitution (Eighteenth Amendment) Act, 2010 (Act No. X of 2010), s. 48. 3 Subs. by the Revival of the Constitution of 1973 Order, 1985 (P.O.
