447. Restriction on canvassing for sale of securities..—(1) No person shall go from house to house offering securities of a foreign company for subscription or purchase to the public or any member of the public. Explanation. —In this sub-section, “house” shall not include an office used for business purposes.

(2)Any contravention or default in complying with requirement of this section shall be an offence liable to a penalty of level 3 on the standard scale.
