Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 — Section 10: Power to enter or search

10. Power to enter or search.___ If any officer of the police, armed forces or civil armed forces is satisfied that there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that a person has possession of written material or a recording in contravention of section 8 he may enter and search the premises where it is suspected the material or recording is situated and take possession of the same 1[:] 1 [Provided that the concerned officer shall first record in writing his reasons for such belief and serve a copy thereof either on the person or on the premises.]
